There's a band called Tsunami Bombs, and the lead singer sounds strikiingly familiar. I dont know if she was in another band that I used to listen to or if she just sounds astoundingly like some other lead singer somewhere.
Either way, I neeeeeeeeed to find out what that other band is. My sanity may or may not depend on it.

Emily Whitehurst is her real name.
She sings in a band called The Action Design these days but I doubt thats the band your thinking of.
She sounds like a cross between the chick from metric and Joan Jett.
